Isabel Overby is a multidisciplinary designer and art director based in New York City. She has a BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Art History through the Tufts / School of the Museum of Fine Arts’ dual degree program. Isabel also learned brand strategy through SVA’s Branding with Type program.
Adjacent to her branding practice, Isabel is interested in how landscapes shapes design and design shapes sense of place. She researches, writes, and designs books through her publishing practice, Overlap Press. Her current research focuses on the act of translation, the anthropology of public spaces, and the role of culture in shaping design.
When Isabel is not designing you can find her out for a walk or looking for a book.
